Job Description

Position Summary:

The Office of Admissions at Hellenic College Holy Cross is looking for a Marketing Intern to work closely with the Admissions Team and the Marketing Design Manager for the 2017/2018 academic year. 

This Intern will be responsible for producing and publishing engaging content on the College’s social media platforms, the admissions’ webpage, and also developing new social media initiatives. Additionally, the Intern will assist with creating/editing/proofing written content for any printed publication.


Job Requirements


The ideal candidate would have previous experience and/or strong interest working as a Marketing Intern in a higher eduacation setting, as well as experience creating content for web and managing selected social media accounts (Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter) for an organization and/or business. 

  • Previous experience with marketing and social media
  • Interest in developing webcontent and gathering stories of students and alumni
  • Manage social media accounts by creating content, as well as connecting with prospective students, guidance counselors, youth directors, and parish priests
  • Create/edit/proofread written content on the web and in printed publications
  • Understand the overall mission of the Office of Admissions
  • Able to commute to our Brookline campus

·         Second or third year student

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Punctual, reliable, quick thinking, proactive, and highly organized
  • Ability to be tactical and/or strategic, and work independently
  • Other duties as assigned
