To administer and execute the general office duties of the Cathedral office, to support the clerical, secretarial and administrative needs of the Cathedral Dean, as well as Parish Council and the various Ministries, and to maintain current communications with the Parish through the webpage, email, facebook and other social media. Maintain accurate financial records of monetary transactions according to established bookkeeping practices and as per guidelines established by the Treasurer of the Parish Council. Will supervise the duties of one employee.
Knowledge of Greek a plus but not a requirement
Must have a working knowledge of the latest versions of Quick Books; Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher, Photoshop; Facebook, and other social media.
Must be cognizant of bookkeeping practices
Previous experience in a church setting a plus but not required.
Salary commensurate with experience. (Between $55,000 and $65,000 to start)
