Cantor

The Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Baltimore, MD is seeking to obtain the services of a cantor for all services of the liturgical cycle through the ecclesiastical year.  

The applicant must be knowledgeable of the modal structure of Byzantine chant, be able to chant fluently in Greek and in English. 

This position involves all Sunday services, all orthodox religious holidays, and all sacraments, weddings, baptisms and funerals. 

The compensation for this position is based on experience of the applicant.
