Chanter

Saint Paul Greek Orthodox Church in Hempstead, NY, is seeking to obtain the services of a Chanter for Sundays and all services of the liturgical cycle through the ecclesiastical year.

Requirements

The applicant should be knowledgeable of the modal structure of Byzantine Chant, and be able to chant in English and Greek. This position involves all Sunday services as well as many weekday services as well as all sacraments.

Compensation

The compensation for this position is based on the experience of the applicant.
