Job Title: Ionian Village Director
Position Location: Remote or NYC GOA Office
Salary Range: $65,000.00-$75,000.00

Job Summary

The Director is responsible for the planning, execution, and wellbeing of IV and IV Next programs, as well as activities/events during the year that require traveling across the Country to promote the camping ministry.  Presenting the work of IV Camp at various conferences. Preparing reports for grants.

In addition, the Director manages all vendor coordination and relationships; recruits, hires, and supervises staff that include seasonal workers; budget responsibility.

Principal Areas of Responsibilities

Total Operations Management including:

Database Maintenance

Ensures that the updating, and utilizing of CampMinder and Constant Contact, is well maintained throughout the year; achieve registration time-frames goals and execution of the process.

Event Planning and Execution

With support from the Assistant Director, coordinate efforts and successfully implement promotional activities, annual camp reunion, staff getaway, and alumni events etc.; debriefing and revising events/activities to ensure positive participant experience. Deliver presentations.

Staff, seasonal worker and vendor management

Source, hire and provide leadership to staff and vendor resources. Set expectations and provide feedback for performance quality and deliverables,

Offshore Execution

Facilitating end-to-end-smooth operations and participant experience while keeping senior management updated as to progress and challenges.

Budget Management

Consistently abide by budgetary policies and procedures, reporting and communicating throughout the year and staying with the approved budget by the end of fiscal year.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Speaking and writing in Greek
    • 5+ years’ experience
  • Experience in an Orthodox camp setting (administrative or staff or as a participant)
  • Microsoft Suite, Constant Contact, etc.

  • Must be available to work extended hours and weekends as required
