Program Manager

Job Summary:

The Saint Anastasia Fellowship (SAF) seeks a highly qualified and experienced Program Manager to lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of its Core Curriculum groups within the Archdiocesan District. The Program Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to established protocols in all SAF groups, which integrate clinical education with Orthodox Christian teachings to address addiction and support individuals and families.

Key Responsibilities

Core Curriculum Development:

  • Collaborate with experts to develop and establish a Core Curriculum tailored for SAF groups.
  • Create and standardize materials such as basic principles, group moderation guidelines, and psychoeducational content specific to SAF.
  • Ensure alignment with Orthodox Christian tradition and the United States Department of Health and Human Services' 12 Core Competencies for addressing addiction.
  • Obtain an assessment from a panel of experts indicating their impartial review of the Core Curriculum, based on prevailing clinical, pastoral, and pedagogical standards.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Media-Based Platform Creation:

  • Establish a media-based platform for accessing and distributing the Core Curriculum materials.
  • Oversee the creation of informational articles, pre-recorded videos, workbooks, facilitator guides, and other materials to educate potential group moderators.

Promotion and Support:

  • Promote the Core Curriculum and assist in establishing SAF groups regionally and nationally.
  • Act as a clinical liaison, providing support and guidance to group moderators and ensuring clinical accuracy and protocol adherence.

Protocol Development and Management:

  • Develop protocols for group moderator screening and ensure clinical accuracy in all SAF group activities.
  • Preview and offer feedback on all materials created for the Core Curriculum, managing additional consultants as needed.

Hierarchical Endorsement:

  • Submit the finalized Core Curriculum (as well as evaluation materials prepared by expert panel) to the Eparchial Synod of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America for hierarchical endorsement.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or clinical equivalency required.
  • Extensive experience in program management, curriculum development, and clinical practice, particularly in the field of addiction.
  • Strong understanding of Orthodox Christian tradition and teachings, with the ability to integrate them into clinical education.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage projects from conception to implementation, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
  • Candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and background check.

Note: This is a contracted position, initially remote and not requiring on-site service within the first year. The position may transition to on-site/in-person service in the second year, based on project needs. Compensation is based on 500+ hours of service per year.
