Telos Center Manager

The Telos Center is an initiative of CrossRoad Institute. At CrossRoad, we believe that by engaging in authentic community, traditional spiritual practices, rigorous academic learning, and vocational exploration, young people can develop the tools they need to make meaningful life decisions and fully engage with the lives of individuals and communities around them.  

The Telos Center Cambridge is looking for a full or part time manager, starting June 2025. Based at Sts Constantine & Helen in Cambridge MA, the Telos Center is CRI’s hub of young adult ministry. The Center strives to build up the fellowship of the Orthodox Christian young adults in Boston, provide them with excellent theological education, and help guide them to live out their vocation in their everyday lives. 

The Telos Center Manager is an essential member of the CRI team who spearheads Telos Center outreach to Boston-area young adults. Specific duties include outreach to young adults to engage them in the Center, inviting them to design and lead offerings; establishing and managing a calendar of engaging offerings at the Center; managing the Center’s outreach and communication through a website and social media; coordinating regular liturgical services; and helping strategize and develop relationships for long term funding of Center ministry. Must have excellent attention to detail, strong outside-the-box thinking, good knowledge of Orthodox theology, an enthusiasm for networking, and a good sense of humor. This position is fully in person.

 Duties Include but are not limited to:

  1. Work with in collaboration with a TC Center Advisory Board of young adults to create a calendar of events for the Telos Center, with each event focused around one or more of the following themes: fellowship, service, education, liturgical arts, or leadership training
  2. Coordinate Thursday evening liturgical services and dinner
  3. Promote events on social media, in person, at churches, and on the website
  4. Review and authorize ministry grants for Telos Center applicants
  5. Fundraise for the Center
  6. Work with parishes/OCFs/non-profits in the area, hosting them at the Center when appropriate
  7. Regularly data tracking in Salesforce
  8. Work seamlessly to support Ss Constantine and Helen priest and parish council
  9. Manage Coworking hours at the Center (only for full time positions)
  10. Recruit and manage and Telos Center Interns to support in leadership of the center
